Description
“Just an Average Day” was inpired by a view that skiers take for granted so often in Verbier. It features not just skiers but also paragliders. Everyone has a different way to enjoy the mountain. However you appreciate the resort, this “average” day is just an example of what a privilege it is to be there. Laura intends that the layers of ridge lines and mountain ranges get clearer and more textured as you feel closer. She used a palette knife to distinguish the foreground and a brush to soften the background. The featured mountains in the background are a hazy blue. It is how they usually show themselves on a normal cold and grey day.
